Who Can Join

Membership in this credit union shall be open to active and retired employees of the Willoughby-Eastlake Schools, employees of the Willoughby-Eastlake libraries, employees of the credit union and immediate members of their families. The term, immediate member of their family, shall include Parents, Spouses, Children, Siblings, Grandchildren, and those residing with a member.

Surviving spouses of any of the above described employees, whether or not such employee is or was a member.

The term employee includes those persons who have completed active employment and have retired as annuitants.

Persons who become members of this credit union shall be deemed to retain a common bond of association and thereby are eligible to retain their membership even after the original basis for membership has been terminated, so long as such person remains a member of the credit union in good standing.

Pursuant to Section 1733.05 Ohio Revised Code, membership shall also be open to any group of persons who, themselves, by employment, geographic location of their residence or property, geographic location of their employment, or other organizational affiliation, have a common bond of association.

How to Join

To become a member complete a short application, and minimum deposit of $5.00 in a share (savings) account. Once you become a member of the WES Credit Union you will always be a member, even if you change jobs, retire, or relocate. History

WES Credit Union received a state charter in 1954. The mission of the WES Credit Union is to provide the best service and the best rates possible to our members while maintaining a sound financial institution.
